We offer a limited number of repair work slots each month. These types of restorations can take up to 12 weeks. We do accept hats needing restoration services via mail. Please send a photo of your project for a price quote and directions on how to proceed.

HAT RESTORATION PRICE LIST:

MOST HAT CLEANINGS $68

remove dust and dirt from crown and brim by brush and/or sandpaper, restarch both brim and crown. Original hat lining hand washed, ironed and reset into the hat. Quick reshape to original crown & brim style.

JUST A CROWN & BRIM RESHAPING $48+

hat crown and/or brim needs to be set to it’s original shape with steam, pressure, time and our hat blocks and/or brim blocks.

SIZING A HAT DOWN $128+

We can deconstruct a felt hat and change the size. Depending on the quality of the felt we can size down one size and up to 4 sizes. We cut down the original sweatband if it’s sentimental or we can replace it with a new sweatband. We retack all the original trims or we can replace it. HAT CLEANING & RE-BLOCKING $148

Brush and/or sand away any dust and dirt. Spot clean any stubborn stains. Full submersion into a water bath saturating the felt. Repeated when stains are stubborn. Original hat lining hand washed, ironed and reset into the hat. Hat reblocked to it’s original shape. Rehydrate leather sweatband with a leather conditioner

COMPLETE HAT OVERHAUL, FULL RESTORATION $248

we deconstruct your original hat, removing the trims, sweatband and hat liner. Brush and/or sand away any dust and dirt. Spot clean any stubborn stains. Full submersion into a water bath saturating the felt. Repeated when stains are stubborn. Re-starch the felt. Hand blocked the hat to it’s original shape. Replace the original sweatband with a new goat skin leather hatband, re-tack the original trims, and when needed replace the original hat liner with a new USA made satin hat liner.

HOLE PATCHWORK AT FRONT CROWN $68+

For fur felt hats with a hole or crack that has formed at the front pinch of the crown.

REPLACE ORIGINAL RIBBON HAT BAND $58

REPLACE ORIGINAL BRIM BINDING $78

remove the original binding on the brim of hat. Hand-sew a new binding along the brim. This new binding can be any width from 3/16’’ to 1/2’’ wide.

REPLACE ORIGINAL SWEATBAND $78

remove the old sweatband, cut, and hand-sew in a new goat skin sweatband to the proper size.
