We recreated the hat his granddad wore for years.

Tom Deacon has been a client, friend and advocate since the day I met him.

Tom has known Jill since she was 7 years old and when he heard about Jill’s new life & wife he showed up loving me before we ever met.

Tom brought in this picture of his grandfather and commissioned me to make a replica of the hat his Grand Dad is wearing.

We chose an almond colored coypu (beaver alternative) in a western weight.

We trimmed the hat with a matching ribbon bow and bound ribbon edge.

Tom waited almost 5 months for this hat to be finished. He patiently gave me space while we waited for the felt to restock from the supplier. He waited while I moved my store, threw a grand opening party, trained new staff and navigated exhaustion.

We all need more Tom Deacon’s in our life 🤠
